Walking Women: Hunting for History

Discover Your Outdoors is partnering with WalkingWomen for day walks to build confidence and to connect with other walking women all as we explore and discover the local area. 

This day walk will explore the unique history hidden away in a little-known but beautiful part of Berkshire. We will journey through time exploring iron age defences, a medieval moat, ancient trees and an Elizabethan manor house. We will also discover the story of the woman who left her legacy on the area.

You don’t need to be super fit or speedy as we will adapt to support each other but you should be able to walk 7km+ over some uneven ground. You’ll need to come prepared for a day outdoors with sturdy shoes, layers, lunch and drink.
