Walking Women: Brecon Beacons

Discover Your Outdoors has teamed up with Walking Women for a series of day walks. Come and join a supportive group of women to explore a new place, stretch your legs, build confidence and discover your outdoors.

Walk: Brecon Beacons, 10.30 – 15.30 on Sunday 7thAugust

Location: Brecon beacons national Park - Google Maps, layby on A470, LD3 8NH, what.three,words: tonight.intelligible.botantists

Details: We will explore a stunning corner of the Brecons which is within sight of Pen Y Fan but without the crowds. We will discuss how to use the landscape around us to find our way and discover geography and history from ice age climate change, ancient settlements and modern conservation.

Stay on longer: Whether it’s over mountains, by waterfalls or with alpacas (yes!), the Brecon Beacons offers endless opportunities for walking. The YHA Brecon Beacons provides comfortable accommodation right next door to our starting point.
