Want to learn how to lead others in the outdoors? This course is for you!
The Lowland Leader qualification is a nationally recognised walking qualification designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside. You'll need to have registered with Mountain Training and have personal experience of lowland walking before booking on this training course. Over 2 days you'll be coached in all areas of the Lowland Leader syllabus including navigation, leadership, emergency procedures, access, conservation and environment. You'll have the benefit of learning from other people in your group in a supportive, relaxed way with chance for lots of questions and feedback to prepare you for next steps. We will be training in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.
Before booking this course:
- You must be at least 17 years old
- You should have an interest in leading groups in lowland countryside
- You must have created an account with Mountain Training and registered for the Lowland Leader qualification (cost: £65)
Before attending this course:
- You must have recorded 10+ quality lowland days.
