About the event
DYO is partnering with Love Her Wild on a shared mission to support and encourage more women into outdoor leadership. We are offering this 2 day training course for those seeking to gain their Lowland Leader qualification. You'll have the benefits of training as part of an all female group with the supportive LHW ethos.
The Lowland Leader qualification is a nationally recognised walking qualification designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside. The qualification is suitable for new or experienced hike leaders. You'll need to have registered with Mountain Training and have personal experience of lowland walking before booking on this training course. Over 2 days you'll be coached in all areas of the Lowland Leader syllabus including navigation, leadership, emergency procedures, access, conservation and environment. You'll benefit from learning with Wilders in a supportive, relaxed way with chance for lots of questions…
